Do you have an aqueous based cleaning range for use where the traditional flammable materials are not suitable? |
|
Yes, we have the Safewash Range. This range offers cleaners that can be used in a wide range of cleaning systems including Ultrasonics (products such as SWAJ and SWAS), pressurised cleaning systems (products such as SWAP and SWAF) and by hand (products such as SWA400H and SRI400H).
The Safewash Range offers excellent cleanlinesslevels whilst cleaning a wide variety of contaminants including uncured solder pastes (SWAX) and flux residues (SWA) from a variety of substrates. Some products in the range have also been formulated for use on sensitive metals such as copper and aluminium (SWAS, SWAJ, SWAP and SWAX).
Products within the Safewash Range have been recommended by many machine manufacturers including Miele and Kolb. |

Can you offer a solvent based cleaner? |
|
Yes, we have a wide range of products for cleaning all contaminants of varying substrates.
We can offer fast evaporating solvents (ECSP), internationally approved solvents for purity (IPA) and cleaners that are not flammable (CCC, FRC, SWC and DGC).
These cleaners are available in conveniently packaged aerosols or bulk containers. |

Do you have any conformal coatings with certifications? |
|
Yes, we have the High Performance Acrylic coating (HPA). This is certified to the MIL-I-46058C. HPA also meets the requirements of the IPC-CC-830 standard.
Silicone Conformal Coating (SCC3) DCA is UL746CQMJU2 certified. See www.ul.com for certification. |

Do you have to heat cure Silicone Conformal Coating (SCC3) DCA? |
|
| Yes, the cross linking/polymerisation of the coating is driven by elevated temperatures. Please see Technical Data Sheet for curing schedules. If heat curing is not possible for your application then please consider other coatings such as HPA or FSC. |

|
What methods can be used to apply the conformal coatings? |
|
| Conformal coatings are normally applied by either spraying, dip coating or brushing. For dip coating and spraying applications we can offer the correct thinners for the coating. For example for Acrylic Protective Lacquer (APL) we would recommend Universal Acrylic Thinners (UAT). This will enable you to achieve the desired viscosity. |
