Electrolube Exhibit their latest products at Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Exhibition 2010 Stand K18
Electrolube, the established manufacturer of electro-chemicals, will exhibit a range of high performance chemicals for the electronics, automotive and industrial manufacturing industries at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Exhibition in February.

Electrolube will feature their newest non-VOC conformal coating range, which since its launch at the end of last year, has proven to be a popular addition to their existing range. NVOC is a flexible, moisture cure, conformal coating based on polyurethane technology for the protection of electronic circuitry. In October 2009, Electrolube introduced three additional products to the NVOC range designed for a number of application requirements including aerosol, manual and selective spray, brush and dip applications.

Electrolube’s new NVOC conformal coating products have received much interest since their recent launch for a number of reasons. One main point of interest is that the new products have been designed to meet the high performance of solvent-based coatings without the use of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) a major environmental issue today.

With the increased EU regulations on VOC emissions and companies’ awareness of the effects of high VOC containing products, it was important for Electrolube to design the NVOC conformal coating products to meet environmental expectations. The new range offers all the environmental benefits without losing the products purpose of being able to protect electronic circuitry, adhering to a wide variety of substrates and having excellent resistance to mould growth.

As well as exhibiting the new NVOC range, Electrolube will also feature a number of its latest products, including Safewash Total, a low foam micro-emulsion cleaner. The specially formulated mix of non-flammable solvents in Safewash Total, which form a micro-emulsion when mixed with water, is currently in use by major manufacturers. The product is designed for removing leaded, lead-free and no-clean flux residue on printed circuit boards, as well as the removal of solder pastes and adhesives from screens, stencils, PCB's and related accessories. It is also suitable for use in dishwasher and in-line pressure wash systems, as well as ultrasonic and spray under immersion applications providing superior cleaning performance to military and commercial standards, with little financial and environmental cost.

TFA (Toulene Free Acrylic) conformal coating, developed for the protection of printed circuit boards, electronic components and printed panels against humidity and environmental attack will also be on show, along with Electrolube's new fast-dry conformal coating, DCA-FD. This product is a development of the well recognized DCA conformal coating but has been modified to be touch dry in just 20 minutes. Other benefits include its reduced VOC level and increased coverage per litre of 35%.

Finally, the ultra-low viscosity, flame retardant epoxy resin, ER2218 will be on display. A two part encapsulation compound, designed to meet the highest level of flame retardency and adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, whilst exhibiting excellent resistance to water and a number of different chemicals, therefore providing superior protection in a range of environments.

All of Electrolube's latest products will be on display at stand K18 and the Electrolube team would welcome any questions visitors may have about specific product applications or products. For more information please visit
