FIEE – it’s well-known in the industry as Latin America’s largest International Electric, Electronic, Energy and Automation Trade Show. Occurring once every 2 years, this was the first FIEE since 2013, and boy, did we notice a difference since we last exhibited.
It was a lot smaller than it was in 2013 – and a lot more Chinese! It’s no secret that the new Brazilian Government is no longer subsidising its taxes after falling into recession last year, and with no impending World Cup to work towards anymore, Brazilian manufacturing is starting to take a hit. Only about half of the exhibitors from 2013 were present at FIEE this year.

Electronics for You Expo 2015 in New Delhi, India, turned out to be a roaring success, not only for us here at Electrolube, but for the Indian industry as a whole – marking an overwhelmingly positive start to the Indian economy’s potentially rocky year.
Energised by this years’ theme: ‘Celebrating the Success of the ESDM Industry’, Indian exhibitors revelled in shaking off the cautious predictions whispered by economic soothsayers at the end of 2014. You could feel the optimism for 2015 charge EFY Expo’s atmosphere as Indian ESDM (Electronics System Design & Manufacturing) success stories were shared continuously throughout the event at the CEO Summit.Read more >
Apex 2015 was a great show for Electrolube – well, let’s face it, Southern California in February is a great place to be! I was joined by the US General Manager, Randi Gates, and together we met a good number of existing customers and channel partners, but more importantly; we met a lot of potential customers.
Their needs seemed to spread across all of our product divisions, and we saw an interesting pattern begin to emerge as we questioned our new potential clients. Each conversation would start off discussing an initial application; perhaps a Conformal Coating, for example, and then we would end up discussing the rest of our product divisions as we trouble-shooted further complications and problems that the visitors were having with their assemblies.Read more >
