Thermal Shock Chamber side view

I heard about a new investment in our laboratories; something ready to revolutionise and shock the industry, something that would improve our products - and something that I probably wouldn't understand without the help of some clever scientists.

Fortunately, there are ample of those at Electrolube, so I sat down with Carolyn Taylor, one of our Development Chemists, to learn about Electrolube's new Thermal Shock Chamber - what it does, how it helps, and how we're planning to change the industry with it.

FIEE 2015 at the Anhembi Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil

FIEE – it’s well-known in the industry as Latin America’s largest International Electric, Electronic, Energy and Automation Trade Show. Occurring once every 2 years, this was the first FIEE since 2013, and boy, did we notice a difference since we last exhibited.

The Electrolube team being presented with an award for participation at EFY Expo 2015 in New Delhi

Electronics for You Expo 2015 in New Delhi, India, turned out to be a roaring success, not only for us here at Electrolube, but for the Indian industry as a whole – marking an overwhelmingly positive start to the Indian economy’s potentially rocky year.

You could feel the optimism for 2015 charge EFY Expo’s atmosphere as Indian ESDM (Electronics System Design & Manufacturing) success stories were shared continuously throughout the event at the CEO Summit.

The Electrolube stand at Southern Manufacturing Show 2015 We’re thrilled to have just returned from the Southern Manufacturing Show (SME) in Farnborough, UK, where we finally unveiled the revolutionary new Air duster Zero to a very healthy footfall indeed! A couple of our European Technical Sales Engineers, Arthur (pictured left), and Cedric (pictured right), were in charge of the stand, and provided a go-to resource for all things Electrolube. Our Marketing Manager, Karen Harrison, came down on the first day of the show to give a press conference on the Air Duster Zero, meanwhile letting her new Digital Marketing team loose to cause havoc while on our first foray to an Electrolube exhibition. Cedric Karrer, Technical Sales Engineer for Electrolube

It's now just over a year since Electrolube's shiny new brand re-launch at Productronica, and we've been settling into our updated image quite nicely! We've got some major new recruits, including Phil Kinner, who is leading our Conformal Coatings range into the new era of future technology by smashing away at outdated industry concepts. Electrolube has had a record breaking year with double-digit growth; as well as expanding our product divisions, we've also been expanding our online presence and international reach, which we plan to carry on growing in 2015. Here are some of our biggest developments of the past year...
