The IPC APEX EXPO 2015 conference and exhibition is a three day event aimed at the printed circuit board and electronics manufacturing industry. This year it will be held in San Diego, California.
Supported by the IPC global trade association who dedicate resources to the management, improvement and technology enhancement programs, the creation of relevant standards, environment protection and related government relations. Their conference is highly attended and professionals from around the world participate, presenting industry topical papers.
Attending the show will be PCB manufactures, designers, EMS companies, OEMs and design engineers.
Electrolube will be communicating the latest new product information at the show as well as Phil Kinner, Technical Director, Coatings Division presenting a paper called 'CC-830 vs the real world: Part 2' at the conference.
The paper asks questions regarding the relevance of the standard within industry today and shows that materials that are CC-830 approved don’t necessarily perform well in a more representative sequential test regime of thermal shock, powered salt-mist, humidity and extended thermal aging.
CC-830 was an improvement on the MIL-I-46058C but times have changed, new coating materials are now available, demands from the end user have increased and changed. Does CC-830 give the user the guarantee they are looking for? This paper gives you information to decide.
Electrolube will be on stand 3019 for any material or application queries you may have.
