In a strategic move to extend its market reach into the important US electronics manufacturing sector, Electrolube has established a new distributor agreement with the US Midwest based company, Murray Percival. This development will enhance Electrolube's existing widespread US market coverage, which currently includes distribution agreements with major suppliers across the United States, including Fastenal and Hisco, among others.
The Murray Percival Company is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and is a leading supplier to the Midwest's electronics industry, covering the States of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Illinois. Founded in 1960, Murray Percival is a third-generation, family-owned business, supplying manufacturers in the automotive and wider electronics markets.

Electrolube, the leading manufacturer of specialist chemicals for the electronics, automotive and industrial manufacturing industries, today announced that its entire range of conformal coatings has won the Best Conformal Coatings Award by the popular on-line Indian publication, Electronics Maker. The award was presented to Electrolube during Productronica India, where the company is currently exhibiting a new potting and encapsulating compound for sensors and automotive applications; aromatic-free coatings for mainstream electronics manufacturing and thermal management and potting products specifically targeted at LED lighting manufacturers, which are all generating a lot of interest.

Electro-chemicals specialist, Electrolube has launched two new protective and decorative polyurethane resins that will be of particular interest to LED lighting manufacturers. The first of these - UR5634 - is a two-part, semi-rigid, optically clear polyurethane resin that achieves a water-white transparency, ideal for LED potting applications. This RoHS-2 compliant, low-hazard, isophorone diisocyanate-free material is weather resistant, as well as good resistance to acids and alkalis. It is also strongly resistant to yellowing when exposed to UV light – of particular benefit to LED luminaires and light fixings exposed to direct sunlight.
