HK Wentworth wins major accolade: The Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade

HK Wentworth Group, has been announced winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success. The company received the Award for Enterprise in International Trade in recognition of its outstanding global exporting success.

With international headquarters located in Leicestershire, UK, HK Wentworth is the parent company of Electrolube, global manufacturers of specialist electro-chemicals for the global electronics, automotive, LEDs, aerospace and industrial manufacturing industries. The company, founded in 1941, is still privately owned by the Kingsbury family and has consistently achieved steep year-on-year growth in overseas sales. Overall growth has risen by as much as 50% during the three-year period of the Award and a vast 66% of sales have been achieved from export activity.

Electrolube Extend In-house Testing Facility With Thermal Shock Chamber

Electrolube, the global electro-chemicals manufacturer, has recently invested in a cutting-edge Thermal Shock Chamber, enhancing its sequential in-house testing capabilities. The test laboratory grade system can achieve a rate of change of temperature close to 40°C per minute, and has a working temperature range from -65°C to +200°C, facilitating severe testing of electronic assemblies, representative of real environments, which is particularly critical for those destined for military and harsh automotive applications.

The National Physical Laboratory Invite Electrolube To Co-Author A Paper For APEX Expo

Electrolube is pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). Phil Kinner, Electrolube’s Technical Director for the Conformal Coatings Division, has co-authored a paper entitled ‘A New Approach To Condensation Testing’ with colleagues at NPL, who presented the paper in Las Vegas at the APEX Expo, the premier US event for the printed circuit manufacturing industry, which took place March 15-17.
