It has a high toughness offering protection from physical shock and vibration while and is hard to tear.

It has excellent resistance to sea water making it a perfect choice for marine electronics devices. Its low water absorption also means it has potential for use above or below the surface and has specialist fillers in order to maintain a low dielectric constant making it an ideal choice for sensors.
