Enhanced protection for enhanced PCB performance
Conformal coatings are designed to protect printed circuit boards and related equipment from their environment. Typically applied at 25-75µm, these coatings 'conform' to the contours of the board allowing for excellent protection and coverage, ultimately extending the working life of the PCB.More info > Download product selector chart > Download product brochure >

Product code: Part A* : E2K100A5L
This flexible general purpose conformal coating is a two-part system which has been carefully formulated to combine the best properties of resins with the ease of application of a conformal coating. Another feature setting 2K100 apart from other two-part systems is that it is completely solvent free, making it much safer for the operator.
2K100 is a soft, highly flexible, hydrophobic coating making it an excellent choice for applications where moisture is present as well as offering excellent salt mist protection. It also meets the requirements of the BMW Group standard GS95011-5 which makes it an ideal choice for automotive applications. .
2K100 is applied using selective coating machines from PVA (using the specially adapted part VPX-2KS) and Nordson Asymtek (using the latest in the AM range). .
*Two Part System requires 2K100 as Part A and 2KPB01L as Part B, please refer to the product TDS for recommended mix ratios.
